But I'd like to contend, that the updated versions are not a one to one copy, but rather so an upgrade of the original, adding in new things that aren't in the N64 version. Of course, we know that the console Banjo-Kazooie games are all on Xbox, and can be played via the console, or Xbox Game Pass. Something hit me about a month ago, what about games like Banjo-Kazooie on the N64? If I can't back them up, then should I just let them rot at the end of the cartidge's lifecycle? Not to play them again? ) They won't even legally let me back them up with a device made myself, or purchased otherwise. (I understand that it's someone else's copy they distributed, and it goes against Nintendo's code. I find it wrong to pirate every game that I don't own, but have always been upset that it's still technically wrong in Nintendo's eyes to pirate a game that you legally own.
